Privacy Policy

Privacy is everything.
Your vault is yours. We cannot watch your videos, read your letters, or share them with anyone other than the Keeper you nominate.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, and password (hashed).
- Vault content: the files you upload and the categories you assign them to.
- Keeper details: the name, email, phone, relationship, and release instructions you save.
- Payment info: processed by Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Basic technical logs: device, browser, and IP for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use it
Only to run your account, keep your files safe, take payment, contact you about the service, and release your vault to your Keeper at the right time. That's it. We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train AI.
3. Where your files live
Your vault is stored in a private, per-user folder. Access is protected by row-level security so only you (and, at release, your nominated Keeper) can reach it. Files are served through short-lived signed links that expire quickly.
4. Who we share with
A small number of service providers help us run Bonded Legacy: our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our payments processor (Stripe), and our email delivery provider. Each is bound to keep your data confidential and use it only to provide their service to us.
The only person we release your vault to is the Keeper you nominate, according to your written instructions.
5. Your rights
You can view, edit, download, or delete your vault content at any time from your account. You can also delete your entire account, which permanently removes your files. To request a copy of your data or ask any privacy question, email hello@bondedceremony.com.
6. How long we keep things
Your vault stays with us for as long as you have an account. If you cancel a monthly or annual membership, your files remain accessible until the end of your paid period. Forever memberships stay forever, until you delete them. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to run checkout securely. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
8. Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will email you before it takes effect.
