Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Bonded Legacy ("we", "us") is a service operated by Bonded that lets you store private video messages, letters, photos, recordings, and other keepsakes to be released to a person you nominate (your "Keeper") at a time you choose.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bonded Legacy. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Your content

You own everything you upload. You give us the limited permission we need to store your content, back it up, and release it to your Keeper according to your instructions. We will never sell your content, use it to train AI, or share it with anyone other than your Keeper.

You are responsible for what you upload. You agree not to upload anything unlawful, hateful, or that infringes anyone else's rights.

4. Membership and payments

Memberships are billed in US dollars through Stripe. Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically until you cancel from your account. Forever memberships are a one-time payment.

You can cancel any time. We do not offer refunds on partial billing periods, but we will always help sort out honest mistakes, just email us.

5. Your Keeper and release of your vault

You nominate a Keeper and give written instructions about when your vault should be released. We rely on your Keeper acting in good faith. Bonded Legacy is not a legal executor and does not verify death certificates on your behalf, though we will follow reasonable steps to confirm before releasing anything.

6. Availability and limits

We do our absolute best to keep your vault safe and available, but we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted. Individual file limits apply (currently 500 MB per file and 5 minutes per video) and may change over time.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. When you do, your vault and all uploaded content are permanently deleted. We may also suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

8. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Bonded Legacy is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is capped at what you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes and contact
